  • One time in another life......

This was me!!!  Ha Ha..  My good friend Jamie found this and sent it to me, this is us at the Jersey Shore at around 16 years old.  We loved to pose together and here we are in all our cheesy early 90's glory!!!  Enjoy!

Oh and see if you can tell which one of us actually did some real modeling back in the day.  He He He.... Not me...

  • Radio Station Nugget

Press the arrow play button below.....

Ever have a blah day when you could use a boost.  Maybe just feeling down for no reason skipping around on the radio in your car in hopes for a good song to change your spirits?  Well 98.1 The River was there for me today.  I caught it at the right time when they were announcing the next artist and when she said The Samples, I was immediately Happy!!!!  I havent listened to them since my college days.  The song immediately brought me back to happy times, happy songs, happy music.  Immediately when I got home I got on Amazon.com and downloaded my favorites to put on my IPOD and thought I would share one song here.  Some of my girls who remember this song and who may be checking in on this blog may even have a little bit of extra Happy brought to their day because of it, and that is my hope.

So here is Birth of Words, by The Samples, enjoy!

William Alexander DiYeso has decided to trade in his diapers for the potty!!!!!!  YAHOOOOO!!!!! We are in our 3rd week of poopy on the potty, and over a month and a half on pee-pee on the potty.  I am so proud of him.  It was a long several weeks of failed poopy attempts (lots of messy underwear, yuck) but I am confident we are finally here!!!!  Next obstacle is pullups at nap and bedtime.  But I am in no rush for that.   Great Job William, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!!!!

  • Beach Day

I took Dylan, Will, Tyler, and cousin Jordan to Lake Powhatan today for some fun in the sun.  The kids had a really fun time, playing with sand, swimming, and more importantly eating their picnic lunch.  Here are some pics.

  • HAPPY FATHERS DAY, KEITH!!

    Fathers Day 09 020

Here is Daddy with Tyler, Dylan, and Will on Fathers day.  The kids couldn't wait for daddy to read their cards and see the projects they made for him at school.

Wills said, "I like it when Daddy helps me brush my teeth, and when Daddy plays with me!"

Dylans said "I like it when Daddy tucks me in at night, and I like it when he plays with me.  He helps me when I get hurt and I like it when Daddy feeds me!"

    So cute.

Happy Fathers Day, Babe.  We love you!!!

About Me

  • I am a mom of 2 + one step child, and am trying to figure out the perfect happiness recipe. Most days I feel like I am going crazy, but somehow I keep on keeping on. I need to work on finding more humor in my life, and laughing more at lifes calamities. Fortunately for me I have a loving family that I love and have not wanted to turn me in yet. Have I said yet that I am a work in progress because I am!!

Lexi, Listen, you need to give yourself a break. I don't just mean physically, where you get a couple of hours to yourself, but mentally and emotionally. You are beating yourself up. And you ARE an excellent parent. Jordan and I have both seen you in action and think that you are fabulous. And

Lexi, So glad I decided to pop in on your site. Great photos of the boys ~ love the sunflower patch. Makes me miss those days (and field trips) with Jordan when she was little. They grow up so fast. Still can't get over how much Dylan now looks like Keith did. Looking forward to seeing you all

Lexi ~ Thought I'd check in to see if you had any new photos and you didn't disappoint! It's like a mini reality TV show! It is amazing how much Dylan looks like Keith did ~ it was like being transported back into my own childhood. Hang in there with Will; he has to run out of steam at some point
